By pushing the boundaries of science and partnering with the NHS, AstraZeneca is committed to reducing the burden and complications of diabetes.

Small Talk, Big Difference

The Small Talk, Big Difference joint working project is a collaboration with AstraZeneca, MSD, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board and the University of Glasgow. Patients who are overweight or obese and have type 2 diabetes receive personalised diabetes care by primary care staff to address the issue of weight in a non-judgemental manner. They are then referred to an NHS-funded weight management service, ensuring equity of access across the Health Board. For more information please click on the link below:
