Leadership by example at all levels is one of our values and we encourage our people to develop their leadership skills and style.
Whilst we have defined AstraZeneca Leadership Capabilities to describe what effective leadership looks like in our organisation, there is no 'one way' to be a leader - it's more about developing to your own full potential. Key to this is self-understanding - knowing your strengths and preferences and being aware of the impact of what you do on others.
As well as seeking feedback from colleagues and understanding the company's leadership values we offer a range of development programmes. Of course being a leader isn't always easy. But if you're helping to make it happen you deserve our support.
