Now I appreciate also AstraZenecas commitment to continuous improvement of the way we work and the consistent support of your personal development.
What was your recruitment experience like?
Recruitment consisted of an assessment centre, including interview, group exercise and practical task. My interviewers were very down-to-earth and I actually enjoyed the interview, as it was based on recalling real experiences I have had throughout my working life.
What does your job involve?
There are around 10,000 sales representatives across Europe. As Process Manager I lead a team of around 30 multilingual staff, who are responsible to ensure that all expenses occurring to sales reps in their line of work are paid timely. Since its creation, EBS has proven that it is vital as platform to implement new ways of working or improvements to existing processes or systems on a regional, European scale. My team contributes actively to these achievements, demonstrating flexibility, commitment and above all, an excellent team spirit.
What makes a great Process Manager in your opinion?
A 'can-do' attitude, a willingness to learn new skills and never forget that your are constantly dealing with actual people (as opposed to just resources), and all aspects that come with that.
What skills do you need to be successful?
Ability to embrace change, approachability, flexibility, curiosity, stress resilience.

What general advice would you give someone about their career?
Your career is your personal responsibility. Do not narrow your plans too much. Work hard, enjoy the positive sides of a job, but accept that there might be negative ones, too.
If you were not a Process Manager, what would you be?
I would be working as a member of a Mountain Rescue Team or as a Ranger in one of the National Parks.
